Title: Sales Estimator
Description: We are adding a Sales/Estimator to our team. We have a reputation as one of the pillars in quality machining and fabrication in the Seattle area. Our facility includes multiple plants focused on machining, fabrication, gear manufacturing and custom assemblies. Our clients include some of the biggest names in the naval, aerospace and heavy equipment manufacturing industries. The Sales/Estimator will be someone with a background beyond aerospace. Machining knowledge paired with the ability to work with new and existing customers providing machining and fabrication solutions will be the ideal fit.
The Estimator will:
Work across multiple teams to determine cost and production procedures for tooling, parts and fabrication
Coordinate with new and existing customers on prototype development and production needs
Work with our gear division on gears and gearbox projects
Work with CAD/CAM software to determine proper dimensioning and accurate pricing
Bring ideas, solutions and energy to both our team and our customers
The ideal candidate will:
Have at least 5 years of experience in precision machining and welding, with gears and gearbox knowledge a big plus
Bring 2+ years of knowledge in accurately bidding and producing high tolerance machine and fabrication tooling and assemblies
Have an understanding of planning machine work and managing contracts
Be an outstanding communicator both in person and through computer software and programs such as (Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint)
