Title: CNC Lathe Machinist Setup/Operator – NIGHT SHIFT

Description: We are an experienced ISO 9001 and AS 9100 certified machine and fabrication shop located in Sumner, looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set-up and run our HAAS / Hi-Tech & Okuma lathes. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in CNC Lathe machining field. [Shift is M-Th 3:00 pm – 1:30 pm – OT on Fridays as needed]

Summary:
Responsible for setting-up and operating CNC and ability to debug, troubleshot, edit and run G-Code. Knowledge in lathe GD&T required.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Set-up and operate mills (FANUC & OKUMA CONTROLLERS)
Follow Set-up instructions
Perform visual inspections as well as dimensional inspection of parts to engineered specifications
Assure adequate deburr / cleanliness of parts
Clean machines as scheduled
Other related duties as required / directed

Qualifications:
5+ years’ machining experience required
Demonstrates exceptional follow through with attention to detail and will complete the job correctly the first time
Able to work autonomously (self-driven)
Excellent communication skills
Works well with others, punctual and follows instructions
Willingness to cross-train
Demonstrates continuous process improvement and follows ISO 9001 & AS9100 current manufacturing practices
Experience in a job-shop production environment. Includes use of inspection equipment and ability to interpret blue print drawings

Follows all policies, procedures, standards and safety requirements directed my management
Performs all other duties as requested by management

Physical Requirements:
Able to constantly lift 50 pounds, bend, kneel, stretch and stand during entire shift
