Skookum Aerospace Manufacturing is seeking a CMM Programmer/Quality Inspection who is organized, progressive and detail oriented. Provide CMM programming and operation supporting the quality and manufacturing departments. In addition, the CMM Programmer will be responsible for assisting in improving the Quality Systems and ensuring Quality processes are appropriately utilized in the day-to-day manufacturing process.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:
• Create CMM programs, set ups and establish inspection requirements based on design and engineering requirements using 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Operate CMM to perform inspections as needed.
• Maintain CMM, related equipment and all relevant quality documentation related to the position.
• Perform incoming, in-process and final dimensional inspection using precision equipment such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, height gages, sine plates to ensure product conformance.
• Perform and record First Article Inspections in accordance with AS9102 and/or customer requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering and quality teams as needed on technical issues.
• Assist with training and provide guidance for team members.
• Generate non-conformance reports.
• Work closely with Quality and Manufacturing Teams on nonconformance investigations and corrective actions.
• Assist Estimating, Planning, Programming, and Manufacturing in special projects as appropriate.
• Prepare and submit recommendations to modify processes to improve productivity and quality.
• Conduct process/product audits.

Qualifications: 
• Minimum 5+ years’ of CMM programming (CMM Manager preferred) and operation experience required.
• Advanced (2-D) and 3-D modeling skills including familiarity with conventional dimensioning and tolerancing and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) per ASMEY14.5
• Thorough knowledge and use of inspection tools, gauges and equipment.
• Advanced use of MS Office Suite.
• Experience working in an ISO 9001/AS9100 manufacturing environment.
• Tremendous initiative and problem-solving capabilities along with a can-do attitude and positive outlook.

Requirements:
• A valid state driver’s license required. 
• Must be either a U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (In order to comply with U.S. government regulations as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20), or a “protected individual” as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
• Satisfactory completion of pre-employment drug screen is required.
