Title: CNC Machinist/Programmer

Description: Ability to plan, program, set up and operate CNC mills and CNC lathes on tight tolerance 3D printed rocket engine components made from high temp alloys using either Gibbs Cam or Mastercam 2021. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 
• Set up and operates CNC mills and lathes. 
• Machines simple to complex parts to print specifications.
• Writes programs and edits existing programs.
• Works with minimal supervision.
• Directs and trains less experienced machinists.
• Fixture design and manufacturing.
• Completes set-up sheets and all shop related documents.
• Deburrs jobs as ran and upon completion.
• Keeps workplace safe, clean and organized.

Qualifications: 
Strong mechanical aptitude and machining background with a focus on precision and high quality. 
Ability to run CNC machines including mills and lathes. Good math skills including 
geometry, algebra and trigonometry. Ability to write and perform edits of CNC machining 
programs. Proven ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings and proficient use of measuring 
and gaging instruments, strong GD&T knowledge and application. Ability to lead with experience, teaching and collaborating with other machinists. Openings on all shifts available, days/nights/weekends. Nights and weekend shift have shift pay differential.
